A 2 year project to redevelop Natural England’s Walking for Health website, and manage their online social media presence. This was set against a difficult political climate, with a change of government, so involved tight project management and negotiating procurement processes.

Update: In March 2013, Macmillan and the Ramblers, who took over management of the Walking for Health project, rebranded and updated the website.

Working with Derby-based developers Adaptive, I delivered this project to specification at just a third of the allocated budget. We repurposed the old content and created a new information architecture. We vastly improved the WalkFinder to allow people to search for local walks.
